Anxiety

Stress encountered in daily life can cause anxiety and worry in individuals. It is part of the routine that the emotions experienced during the day are different every day and that ups and downs are experienced.

Anxiety, i.e. the persistence of anxiety, its persistently high level, and the fact that it affects daily life are among the symptoms that require the individual to receive psychological support on the subject.

Today, anxiety is a very common reaction and the number of individuals experiencing it is increasing, with women experiencing anxiety more than men.

People who experience anxiety may feel as if they are not in control of their own bodies and may also experience many symptoms such as excessive sweating, rapid breathing, restlessness, feeling exhausted, trembling, dry mouth, stomach upset, dizziness and muscle cramps. Y

Generalized anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, social anxiety disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder are subtypes of anxiety.

Medication and psychotherapy are the main methods of treating anxiety. Medication does not completely cure the disorder, but it can improve symptoms and make the person feel better, which is why it is important to seek the support of a psychologist.
